It’s mental health awareness this week and I’ve chosen to focus on wellbeing in the workplace.
We spend so much time in work, it’s important mental health in the workplace is noticed.
Yes we are paid to do a job, we have a contract and are considered employees; but before all this, we are humans who need to feel safe, belong and nurtured.
There is lots of evidence joy in work, being less rude to people and looking after ourselves improves productivity & wellbeing.
There’s also lots of evidence, we are in “burn out” mode more than ever by working long hours, doing more and having more challenging tasks placed on us.
We need to look after ourselves, so if you can, strive to do a few of the things below every day in work.
